Hymn For Henry

I could hear two hearts Cry outward in delight See our love, our child This amazing sight His eyes so full of curiosity So ready for his odyssey From five small fingers Wrapped around one I came face to face with love From this child, this son, Through yawns, and smiles Wide eyes and dreams for miles. The majesty of life can set sail Like dandelions in a breeze And what once was so real Can take flight above the trees And with tear in eye We must say goodbye But as heavy as my heart Must now be I've had the privilege To know little Henry And in this world full of sorrows He will forever light all my tomorrows.

Through Henry's journey, a pure love grew to touch us all as delivered from your heart. His time may have been earth short, but giant was the spirit he manifested to bless us all. Your poem is a beautiful rendering of love and an inspiration and reminder of all that love truly means. This gem is Henry's gift and it is beyond precious - thank you for sharing real love in such a truly poetic write. Divine, Michael - like Henry. Blessings ... CayCay
