Hush, Little Child

Hush, little child, sleep tight,
rest in thy deep slumber;
stay in these arms that hold you,
hush, peaceful angel, tonight.

Sleep and at dawn awaken
to meet the new day at sunrise,
but ere the bright stars disappear,
sleep, gentle baby, tonight.

Hush, little child, sleep tight,
rest in thy deep slumber;
close your eyes till tomorrow,
hush, sweet dreams, tonight.
