Hurt That Way

That day we said our love, would be with us forever
Over years and family, we made it all together
Time went by, I guess you tried (but)
Your love was not for me
And then told your lightening truth
And tried to set me free

Guess it was just meant to be
Say friends that still love me
I know that I’m okay… (but)
I never again want to hurt that way

It’s hard living in these walls
Where memories saved it all
At times I just up and cry
But I never feel truly alone (‘cause)
I can feel His calming way deep down inside (and)
He always makes me feel, feel so alive

Guess it was just meant to be
Say friends that still love me
I know that I’m okay… (but)
I never again want to hurt that way

In faith you find your way
Inspiration every day
I know it has for me
His love is all you need

Guess it was just meant to be
Say friends that still love me
I know that I’m okay… (but)
I never again want to hurt that way

Guess it was just meant to be
Say friends that still love me
I know that I’m okay… (but)
I never again want to hurt that way

Never again want to hurt that way
