Hurt People Hurt People

Hurt people ..hurt people

I hope you learn one day  to get over yourself 
Stop trying to be somebody else 
Stop trying to justify your actions 
And use your words not just  retraction 
Hurting people is not okay 
Not when they cared about you a certain type of way 
As when you care about someone you help them find there way 
You don’t watch them fall 
Ignore there call 
You actually step into the words you say 
Make tomorrow a better day 
You would be there even if you caused the pain 
Do anything possible to change and regain 
Because that’s what happens when you mean the words you say 
When you feel a certain way 
Through the ups and the downs 
You’ll be a reason to smile and a reason to frown 
You’ll change to do better and not keep repeating the same pattern 
You’ll move heaven , earth and if necessary  Saturn 
You won’t hurt them or want to keep putting them through the ring
This isn’t Mike Tyson vs Pinklon Thomas and round after round DING DING
Hurt people  hurt people and that’s a fact 
You go from being on the defence to being on the attack 
It’s your very own battle with your head and heart 
But that’s how recovery starts 
Time reveals people’s true intentions 
Without you having to remind or mention 
If someone really means the words they say 
Then life always manages to find a way
