Hurt

I gave so much love
I couldn't give to myself
To a piece of
That is you

Little did I know
Giving you me
Wouldn't build me
But destroy me

Every time i saw you
I felt complete
I felt like my world was you
Meanwhile to you i was nothing
But pad to throw away after
I've been with you through thick and thin when you were bleeding

I would hurt myself
trying to make you smile
and of course you did indeed smile
When you saw me hurt
It's like you're on a mission
to cause me pain

You fold your arms
And dress a angry face around me
trying to make me spill my all
To undress your angry face
With my happiness

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
