Hurricane Katrina
The lives, the way I feel today.
You melted our souls causing this extreme Trajedy.
My hands are slowly shivering as I stand on top of a roof wondering how many days
of this I can live through. Pounding on the roof, trapped in my basement the water is
rising. Help me save me anything just set me free.Sometimes I survive and men come and
crush my roof in with axes to let me out.But sometimes i'm not so lucky... My breath is
fading as I slip under the current. Can I forgive every sin I have committed before I go
under? Sleeping in beds in a huge Arena dome. Huge surroundings and tons of people
surviving right next to me but I feel completely alone. They didn't save my cat and I know
how immature that may sound but she's all I have now who am I going to hug? My life, my
town all underwater like an aquarium.Mercy on my soul as I ride out of town on the many
buses they had supplied for us? No home, no memories, I think i'm lost Katrina.
