Indeed. If it veers west it will get my brother in Panama City. If we comes up the coast and goes inland beforehand, it will get my two nieces that live in the Orlando area. Either way, I'm concerned.

My brother Gus moved to Florida to Port St Lucie. I just spoke with him of the coming Hurricane Ian. According to the weather channel it is supposed to touch down thursday evening, give or take. I asked him if he was prepared. He said he was and he says the shelves are starting to look bare in some spots. I can't imagine waiting for a possible freight train of air heading for my home. I would think it is a scary thought Milton and I wonder how many people are in dire panic. Especially the..

I have close relatives in the panhandle and in the interior section around Orlando, so I'm concerned no matter which way the hurricane decides to ravish. Port St Lucie is on the Atlantic side, I think, so he should be in good shape with this one.

elderly. The insurance companies must tremble when a hurricane is spotted toward Florida. I hope this one dies down before any major destruction is done. You wrote what many are feeling in Cuba, and Florida. Well expressed Milton, have a nice day and thank you for sharing...

Oh, here in Kentucky we'll be getting some rain over the weekend, but no high winds this far north. Thanks, Tom.

I’m going to hear and feel him soon enough. I pray he won’t be stronger than a cat 2 when his screams reach me. If I lose touch it’ll be because I’ve no power. I feel your words, too, Milt.

Get prepared, Jenna, because the exact landfall and speed are not known at this point. I have relatives in Panama City if it veers west not good. If have nieces in the Orlando area if it goes inland halfway up Florida, not good. So, I'm concerned period.

No, Kim, but I have relatives scattered all over the state from Panama City in the panhandle to Orlando area and down to Port St. Lucie on the Atlantic. Thanks for your concern.
