Notes About The Poem

Hurricane Helene Haiku

               Birds restless that dawn

               Clouds announced fierce storm coming

               World confusion reigns

Yes, yes, and there may be more comng! I have a poet friend, missing in Florida! I do hope God keeps him safe. He moved to Florida recently, Victor, I know that cell phones and electricity is bad, and my email went out today, thank you Victor. Other states have flooding and high winds. Animals are lost and in shelters! I have hope this humlbles us all. God controls the universe not man. Humans harm one another.. none are perfsct. Tbat is how I call it. Too busy judging each other.Or trying to be win over our brother? Only one being is better than we!……No poet is! Pangie

A great poem to depict what happened this week. Destruction by nature’s power.

Yes, how right you are, man thinks he is hot stuff, nature can smash us to smithereens is seconds. But we have the divine arrogance to dare think, “We can control the climate?” We cannot ever control ourselves nor live in peace! To all poets affected…..my prayers are with you……and my thoughts.. Hugs, Pangie
