Hurricane

By Laura

I never stop for any stare
Just light the fuse for all I care
Blow this life to misery
I don't know what you see in me

Self-destructive, so neurotic
Glad my pain is so melodic
I used to be an alcoholic
Nowadays I'm just psychotic

Fight the pain; forget the feeling
Let's abandon modern healing
I don't know what to say to you
Just stick to what is tried and true

I'll hold you close and chase the demons
Drown the echoes that you're hearin
I'll listen now, i'm sorry for this
A song without a freakin chorus

Close your mouth and kiss the ceiling
Darling, don't you know the feeling?
Make believe that we are flying
High above this empty lying

We are proud; our flaws are tragic
We're kept alive with stolen magic
Take my hand and leave with me
We're just a breeze across the sea
