Hunter and Fugitive

Where I go you cannot go
Where you go I will not go.
My old heart, like drifting dirt
Waits not for a fleeting flirt.
Your dream world is to me a
trap
Dark dungeon where steal
crabs a nap.
I look far and I see, again
and the same
Why a bird cannot view its
death as a game
Though the hunter employs
the name.
So go your way as I go mine
To the left, to the right, I'll
stay behind
And the distance between
will heal your mind
To a new cause let's bounce
to rise and
shine.
