Hungry For Life

Hunger sails the horizon, Like a ship lost at sea. The cast of castaways, Drift slowly past me. Hollowed and gaunt, Empty orbs that pray. The faces that haunt, Just another sad day. The blind lead the blind, For the scraps we amass. Does anyone notice, As they suffer the past?
