Humor

a little laugh
has never hurt anyone

a playful joke
a small smile

so just stay
for a while

lets laugh and play
in the sweet, white snow

be a kid again
let stress go.

skip down the sidewalk
chanting nursery rhymes

and while you're thinking
think on the good times.

share a smile
with a neighbor or two

go out with your friends
if there's nothing to do.

love life
and let life love you

let humor be a start
let humor be you.

I think this might be called a "couplet" for the Form of this wonderfully uplifting write. Or then again it might be something else ... there are so many forms here at the Soup that I kindof stick with Free Verse ... LOL ... it seems safe and better than "I Don't Know".
