Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds
By Franklin Price

Hummingbirds in town again
Hung their feeders near the house
We love to watch their antics
Me and my lovely spouse

Their wings so fast they disappear
Yet can hear their buzzing sound
Can never be too many
We love having them around

They come in fast and hover
Then land and drink their fill
They love the sugar water
Which they sip in with their bill

They are a lot fun to watch
Play together, have a ball
I could swear I hear them humming,
“It's a small world after all”
