Thank you silent one. Original Basho form is the only form that captures the moment of an actual event that expresses immediate recognition and the uniqueness of the moment.

Yes Caren, I agree with your insightful belief. The great Basho taught his followers to see and express the moments that most people haven't { for whatever reason} yet become aware of these snapshots of life in such an brief glimpse of time and occurrence. When we see it, it's complete. No need to see more, or add to it in our thoughts. We may never see it happen again, and therefore we will always remember it. When we think of it, It's as fresh as the first time.
