Humming Bird

The flitter, flitter of the humming bird, Is a joy to behold, Wings bating and flapping, A creature unbridled with, Any consequence to unfold. This diminutive avian, Who is only in search of nutrient, Attracted by an alluring tinge, Brings joy to my eyes, If only for a brief moment. Thank you winged friend, For this brief elation, You made my apathy turned to exultation, Even that you must part, For your next destination.
