The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Humidity

Humidity’s validity
Is limited to plants
‘Cause people would avoid it
If they only had the chance.

For mugginess, like bugginess,
Does nothing but annoy.
It’s not the type of weather
That I ever could enjoy.

The ickiness of stickiness
Just brings me to my knees.
I’m sure I’m not the only one
Who’d much prefer to freeze!

I'm with you all the way in this, Ilene! I hate humidity. Living on an island it can be terrible...sometimes over 90 degrees of it...especially when it's a South wind. Enjoyed your poem; as usual your writing flows with ease. #7 All the best. // paul

Well Ilene, we're nearly freezing now with cold winds, but I'm with you here; humidity stifles the energy out of us. Thank you Ilene - Lindsay

We don't really suffer from extreme temperatures and so don't get humid conditions - I prefer it warm not too hot and definitely not freezing:-) Made me smile with your poem Ilene:-) Hugs Jan xx
