Humanity's Reality
Mankind has been here on earth
ever since there was Adam and Eve
some have showed a lot of good
but others had lots up their sleeve
They've been responsible for much crime
killings, robbery, immorality the very lot
but why when man thinks they're good
it all sounds like some devilish plot
But there you have the real answer
the devil himself entered eden's garden
lured the first couple away from God
so God in Christ brought His pardon
This sinfulness entered everyone since
giving the enemy His sure foothold
but the gospel comes in real power
exchanging sin for righteousness so bold
So humanity's reality surely true
corrupt and sinful is human heart
only blood of Jesus can truly atone
removing all our sin not just in part
