Children's life at risk Slumbering planet awakes Humanity's pride!* © Demetrios Trifiatis 10 July 2018 * A total of eight boys out of twelve have been taken out of the Tham Luang Cave in Thailand after they were trapped in the cave with their coach sixteen days ago! This has been an international operation. One diver has already lost his life in the effort! ** Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

"slumbering"! expressive word that depicts the state government's officials! We are in countries where citizens, from different walks of life, serve themselves in times of crisis! that's "Humanity's Pride"! as you have brilliantly shown in your wonderful Haiku! Slumber is also used in philosophy to depict the inability of mind to think correctly! I do not dispute what you say about the government officials for they are in perpetual slumber ! Thank you dearest, Besma for your gracious comment! Be blessed!

A beautiful write Demetrios, so sad that one of the rescuers' died in the attempt, I know the king of Thailand has organised a royal funeral for him and rightly so. And I'm sure he'll be welcomed into Gods kingdom for his heroic act. Tom
