Human Race

What shall your trip here tell?
Did the time you spend go well?
Was the world too tempting for your mind?
Did you get caught up in the daily grind?
It’s time and doesn’t wait you know
Soon it’s gone and off you go
The road seems filled with bumps and holes
Packed in tight with other souls
All struggle for their time and place
Is this what’s called the human race?
Or are you racing for a prize?
In a land unseen beyond the skies
