Human Pride
If we could see the world united
drop prejudice and go unsighted
let go our status for it divides
appreciate the humankind
When we hate those not alike
we let hate grow act unkind
unpleasant days tortured minds
we learn it ends then rewinds
To those who were not yet alive
whom too get lost in image and pride
cause of division taking sides
war, lives, dies, painful if survived
No creature is truly evolved
when it’s own cycle has a hold
and too sighted but still unsolved
there’s no advance like we are told
We need unity in race and nation
tolerance but not of discrimination
belief respect and mutual trust
common ground here on Earth crust
Straight or on the other bus
skin belief we’re one are us
Unite as one with no divide
for human race for human pride
