Human Mind

Such a wonder,
The human mind,
So unkind,
To itself.

We preach love
For those around,
But none is found,
For itself.

Held above
Is the rest,
Not the best,
Is itself.

Such emphasis
On care for others,
It never bothers,
With itself.

Yet, that's vital
For a pure soul.
Its smoldering coal:
Itself.
