Human Empathy

I close my eye's and hear the screams I feel the pain of all deceived Scared and hurt, pleading and bleeding It grows inside like a bad dream All those before, all yet to come I can feel traveling through my blood Pleading for mercy, pleading for life Asking god to help in this fight Strangled in silence of the night Massacred in numbers in broad daylight Hung by the noose for all to see Others torn apart for the sake of spiritual woos Some who think they have the right as they slice or shoot and take the life It burns me through my mind and soul Pains my heart, squeezes tight and i weep the tears of empathy For a race that suffers long to only gain more hate and wrong © 2008 Summer R
