Human Being
Hi,
Is it okay for me to seat with you?
I heard you crying yesterday
My walls tell me it wasn’t your first time
You cry often they say
Even said that they saw you with bunch of pills once
But you shook your head and walk away
Is it okay for me to hug you?
I am sorry for being a terrible neighbour
I should have smile more just for you
Wave and wish you a peaceful day
On days I see you hanging outside
I should have joined you, to keep you company
Is it okay if I still hold on to your hands?
Please know that I need you
I need your sad smile
Your half-hearted laugh that sometimes rings through our walls
Your acknowledge nod, a confirmation of my physical existence
My being is in your reflection
With you I can be human
So allow me to feel your pain
To carry your worries and pray for your hope
Let me be your rainbow on cloudy days
A promise of sunshine yet to come
Let me share with you my life
Hi
Let breakdown our walls and open our heart
Set ourselves free from drowning sea of emotion
Connect to the world as beings
Connect to the world as humans
See that you and I are not foreigners or alien to each other
We are one and the same human being
