Human Apathy

Without love
We would be barren
And listless at heart
Without love we fall apart
An emotion that forges us
To be
The persons we are
Without love
Our world would be cold and numb
Without love
We would succumb
To a mechanical essence
Without love
We wouldn’t have the precedence
To search
For this deep feeling
That fills us with radiance
And aim
Without love we would sit in shame
Of an emotionless being
Without love
We would lose our well being
In a sea , weeping for regret
Without love
We as humans would forever fret
