Hulls

Revisiting the past
Delving into the heart
Digging hard with nails scratching
With banging fists and lips biting
With locked jaws and questionable laws
With bruised egos and collapse walls
With sinking hope and fragile hulls
With kicks in own backside
So hard we flinch at the thought
The situation long over
Reality not yet sunk in
The moment still present
We still cower
And surrender
To time expired
To bad memories wired

The man stands alone
Exposed to a bush of thorns
Mental anguish brings him to his knees
Stubborn unwillingness
to tears
Bares open a naked mind
To a floor of secrets and sins shared
To the release of a listening ear
To judgement that is fair
To love and self acceptance
To a clear conscience
To a higher
POWER
