Huddled and Cuddled
Love Looking at Statue of Liberty
Small group of people in boat were huddled,
Later to be masses that together cuddled;
Another poet wrote about a golden door,
Opening letting you land on our shore.
Bright ray of light lifted high into the sky;
She watched us as we would pass by,
Needing much help and to be cared for;
People all kept coming score by score.
Found a home and are safe and sound;
They knew that God was always around;
And around her a safe harbor did adorn;
Place where in peace they can be born.
