How Will You Find a Groom

Daisies came courting
I gave them a whack
Next was a bum
From the railroad track

I chased him off with my trusty broom
“How will you ever find a groom?”
My mother chastised me high and low
“I’m not looking for one,” I let her know.

No groom for woman with a trusty broom. This sort of swept up and made me chuckle.
