How We Live

What is for certain is... This day I am a live.
What is not for certain is... Will I see tomorrow?

What is for certain is... I have a place I call home.
What is not for certain is... Will a storm come and take it all away?

What is for certain is... This year I will pay taxes.
What is not for certain is... Will I get any back, and will they be put to good use?

What is for certain is... Our government will spend billions of dollars, on a war
that most don't even want.
What is not for certain is... How many people will die? How many children will be
left without a mother or father?

What is for certain is... This war has been going on longer than we have been a
country.
What is not for certain is... How much longer will it last? Will it ever end?

What is for certain is... Our people need those billions of dollar, that they are
spending on a war which no one is a winner.
What is not for certain is... How much more will " We the People " allow them to
take us under?

What is certain is... That more and more of our companies will leave to go
overseas. Due to paying cheaper wages and being able to charge us more.
What is not for certain is... What is our Government doing to protect us, from
money hungry sharks like themselves?

What is for certain is... They don't see us as people in need of money, education,
health, and an environment in which we can be proud to raise our kids.
What is not for certain is... How much more can we really take. Before we
ourselves begin to fight one another. Due to the lack of resources, and having to
ask the ones that put us in this situation?
