How Water Recycles
Our water continually recycles.
I’ll try to explain how it’s done.
It involves certain reactions.
I’ll discuss them one-by-one.
Evaporation is the first that I’ll mention.
The water gets warm from the sun
This turns the water to vapor
That’s all there is to step one.
The next step is condensation
The vapor rises and cools in the blue.
It gets cool enough to turn into clouds
That completes step number two.
The clouds then get even colder
Tiny drops of vapor take formation
As rain, hail, sleet or snow
This is called precipitation.
Most precip falls in the ocean
Then falls on the ground for a spell.
It’s stored in aquifers underground
It’s used to supply water wells.
That’s basically how it recycles
It’s an interesting realization
There are three contributing factors
Evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.
