How To Live?

I don't know how to live To be silent or loud To be ashamed or proud To hunch or stand tall To stay up or fall To rebel or do as I am told To act youthful or old To hide it or cry To give up or try To listen or be heard To speak or not say a word To love or hate To lunge out or wait To run to him or walk away To be grateful or wish it were a different day To put down my pencil or write To stay inside or fly my kite To forgive or despise To be wild or wise To be atheist or say my prayers To steal or give them what is theirs To give or borrow To live as there is eternity or no tomorrow
