How To Explain the Void
Life is a broken heart
in a paper cup
floating among things unsaid
It's realization through mistakes
Redemption through forgiveness
It's finding humility in a puddle of tears
you helped create
Life is being sorry
when you're not sure why
It's knowing how to spot a lie
and never dipping it in denial
Life is letting go of your insides
when they clamor for freedom
It's being hollowed out
so that someone you love can find joy.
