Sally, my Poet sister. I have no way to reach unaware peop,e. Glad you do. Good you have a blog. I avoid them all, as I was attacked viciously in one for a nothing comment. I know some excellent poets. The hallmark of them is they are adults and I afraid to confront reality in poetry. As you know, not all of lifeisa fum Merry Go Round. Thus far, few here can face reality and want it ...no part of poetry. Thus all the poetry about nature. As if mans crulelty to man is avoided? Thank you for the invite to your blog, Sally. Oh, how I do understand you!as if life were a bowl of cherries? You know that Sinatra song. One line goes” “don’t take it serious, lue’s too mysterious” like rape,murder, wars...are a joke?there is beauty in ,I’ve. But it’s not a clown show. It’s pretty brutal you and I know that. I am not here to be a clown, a comic or write about bunny rabbits! You must write the dark poetry. Life these days is very dark! Grown poets know that. And yes, the resistance to reality here is quite pubescent.it’s worse than that, it’s downright annoying. I can sell out easily here! But I will not. I want my poetry to me above all truthful. I will not write la la poetry! I do not hang out with Muses or ride uncorns. I hang out in the real world... I love, love, truth in any form. I value you, my friend! Nor will I allow any high horsed poet to belittle me. I am not into- group think at all. We all should be genuine and let the chips fall where they may. Panagiota

I was waiting for this response))! And it's a valid one. My issue is.....not all people see well, or type the same speed.nor are we all 25 years old. So they will be seen as uncaring Poets,hardly true, you know very well my typing speed. Turtle! Not road runner! Not 2 lines. Rarely one line. Meaningless! Pangie

Sorry, they do not appreciate your work it is not you they are rejecting, Andrea, they may just not like Poetry...you might love a poem..,they are so, no hum about it. Best to do is acknowledge yourself.Give yourself a trophy. When we are gone...who knows? Write for you. Forget approval here or anywhere. I know my family will not read mine. They have their own interests. I would love to see what my parents wrote. I see it in letters and notes I have and cherish. I know you are one of the best here.and you love Poetry not figures. I understsand you, Andrea fully. Again, part of the problem is the comments chart, Anyone with a-pointed head can write Cool, in response or one sentence. I like in depth comments, So I can sit here all day and pen meaningless comments.....don’t give a rip about the poem or you. Just my status on the comments board,Idiotic to the max. That sux! Big time.or write on,y three line poetry to. Be on Top 100 piemsm slap on some clip artz?

Hi again.Belle. I really think we do. So, for me i is disheartening to give another poet the opportunity to say it is worth less than others. Besides, Belle....what are their credentials in doing so?
