How Religions Come To Pass

How Religions Come to Pass By Franklin Price 2/24/2015 It's interesting how religions are made to come to pass Whether from a fortune teller's cards crystal ball or looking glass From the Bible or the Koran from Jesus Christ Mohammed too All it takes is one believing then convincing more anew Establishing a following who have feelings they belong And soon there's not just one or two they've turned into a throng The recruitment of the grasping ones lost and wondering Searching for some happiness a song that they can sing You are my brothers and my sisters and if you will follow me What I believe will save your soul for all eternity Will resolve unanswered questions of what life is all about Will fill your life with happiness and resolve your every doubt Many sources offer this say we are the only way You will be lost forever if you don't come with us today Some do this with kindness while others threaten harm Either way the choice is yours so I'm raising this alarm Mankind is both blessed and cursed with much intelligence Magnetic leaders right or wrong try to lead us through the fence Evaluate the options and before you make a choice Think about your fellow man and think about his voice You have the right to happiness all others have it too Choose a belief that honors that for those others could be you Teachings that use violence to prove the words they say Makes no sense to me at all should not be in the world today Religion's for the living what it should offer to us all Should be comfort when we're down and a pick up when we fall Consideration for all others and to help our fellow man If we believe and honor that we're really doing all we can Choose a belief that gives you comfort and others the right to choose What you believe should be your choice for you to win or lose Although you may believe them wrong if they don't choose your way It is their choice as it was yours we'll see who's right our dying day
