How Much Is Enough

You have everything
But your soul is empty
All these people with nothing at all
But you’re to blind to see
You think you are what you make
With so much here at stake
You think that money can cure your woes
But even you must truly know
That it is really just a fix
Your problems are still in the mix

Stepping over everyone
As you make your way to the top
Your greed grows stronger by the day
Wondering where will it finally stop
With so many people
And so little hope
Life is hanging here
On the desperation of this rope

So take a long look at the man in the mirror
Before you say you have it tough
See the world that surrounds you
And then tell me
How much is enough

The End
