How Much Does Love Cost

The saying goes the best things in life are free

Well I ask to all how much is love because I have been searching and can’t seem to find it

Either my corrupted mind is blind to something so pure or love is a currency in which I cannot obtain

Did Romeo pay for his precious moments with Juliet, is there a loan for love

Lost in questions my eyes see answers starting to reveal themselves

Yes, love has a cost and it comes in the form of late nights of frustration, tears that never stop falling, and cracks in one’s mind that spread to the heart

Once every night of frustration is spent, and every tear paid for has finally hit the ground, and when your mind has broken so much that your heart becomes lost

Then will you know how much love costs

Then will you find love

And then will you find peace along with conservation

Just know that love will always cost and the price will vary

p.s. I paid a dear price gambling with love…
