How Many

You were the man for me
you were the air that I breathed
I swear I worshiped you so much
you wouldn't believe the way
I built you up
I swear you were a king to me
with just one kiss
you set me free
convinced me of eternal bliss
well that couldn't be any
further from this
all the times that you
took care of me
when I was sick
you comforted me
now I look back
and all I can think
how may others
got to see you
like I've seen
always honest
I guess not with me
