How Lucky We Are

I see stars white and bright, but when I see you
I see the stars turn from white, to a light shade of blue
Because fireworks boom, and my heart starts to pound
Wherever, or whenever, my love comes around
Then I think to myself...
How lucky am I

She sees the ocean waves blue, but when she sees me
She sees the ocean turn from blue to a light colored green
Because fireworks boom, and her heart starts to pound
Whenever, or wherever, I do come around
Then she thinks to herself...
How lucky am I

We see different colors- blue, green and white
We see them turn colors- when we turn off the light
Because fireworks boom, and our hearts start to pound
Wherever, or whenever, we are together around
And we think to ourselves
How lucky we are
