How Long I'Ve Loved You

From the first time I saw you...but in real life or in my dreams
I really don't have a clue...before I was born it now seems
You blazed bright and clear
I held you tight and near
From the time I could first hear and feel my heart beat
There you were, right here, looking so sweet and so neat

As far as a star, as near as a tear, as old as time, as new as a rhyme
There you are, always here, in quantum time, shining so sublime
Then and now did I adore
And now I must implore
That you see, smell, taste, feel and hear my love
For no one outshines you, here or above
