How It Ends

I've been dreaming about you lately. You haven't left, but my heart's not breaking, Not this time, Not anymore. I've cried too many times before to go through this again, To cry myself to sleep again, Remembering when i was your world, Your ride-or-die, Your other half, Your friend. You do this every time. You'd think I'd see it coming. Every time we're so-called "over" You show up. My heart doesn't fully mend. It never ends, But I'd like to think this time I'm smarter, More mature. At least, I hope I am, Because I can't stand to cry, To listen to one more lie, To wish for you and I. So, here you are again, Pushing into my life through friends, It never ends. Does it? Will it? Because I can't do this again, But I can't wait to see how it ends.
