How Innocent Are The Words

How innocent are the words from the mouths of cute teens, it's raw poetry dedicated to lovers in any season that inflames ardent desire! Can that burning flame endure the longest time and become brighter and hotter than a crackling fire? Nothing seems strange about being sentimental, it's the age of tender romance, somehow delusional; touching should be spontaneous, not considered sinful: we all have done that on a purple sunset, giving passionate hugs, we reached out to exchange some kisses, promising to seal secrets! Were they shaking their heads in disbelief, condemning our closeness? The question of age didn't prevent us from being carried to that dreamy world that only two were chosen to be elated; we walked together along those paths, proud of what we achieved: would fate interfere when trust our was threatened by some betrayal? How tightly we held each other, fearing that the dream would soon fail! Did we regret any moment spent together, thinking that all would be well? How innocent are the words said sweetly with short rhymes, if words don't sound poetic, nobody smiles. turn them into delightful phrases for all to recite, to sing joyfully whenever hope is too weak to survive. Bring that joy to hopeless hearts and watch it slowly rise!
