How I Know There Is a God

HOW I KNOW THERE IS A GOD How do I know that there is a God? The evidence shows from the stars to the sod. The stars are so many so far in the skies; They shine all those miles till we see with our eyes. And those in astronomy tell us there are More millions of galaxies and billions of stars. Yet each has a name, God told us one day, And they fill the sky with a brilliant array. The snowflakes are many, but none are the same; They each were unique as from heaven they came. Each person is different, no two are alike; Some tall and some short, some black and some white. And each has a fingerprint, voiceprint, and eyes That none e’er before ever quite had that size. The woods are all full of so many bright things, The trees and the flowers, the birds that all sing, The animals, the creatures of water and sod-- That’s some of the reasons I know there’s a God. But one of the best of the reasons I know That there is a God is the love that He shows. For He became man on this earth long ago And lived and then died on this earth here below. He saved my poor soul when to Him I once came; He hears me each time that I call on His name. So as I travel along earth’s dark sod, There’s no doubt in my mind that there is a God.
