How I Feel

How did you think I’d feel,
When you cheated us out of love?
You built me up and up,
Just to tear it all away.

I’m tired of seeing you,
Yet I love to see you smile.
I said I couldn’t care less,
I guess I’m not much of an actor.

You’ve got this grip over me,
I’m tangled up in your web.
Like a spider you have me at your whim,
If I don’t break free I’ll be doomed.

This is very intriguing. I like the essence of the piece. Don't jump without a parachute. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
