How Green Was Our Valley

All that was once lush and green Are now choking on our fumes By idle hands comes desert sands To bury us in our tombs Action speaks louder than words Our folly's a mystery Foresight blind and soon left behind A footnote in history

Hello Randy, I like how your poem echoes the lament of a world despoiled by our neglect. Your words serve as a powerful reminder that our actions, or lack thereof, shape the fate of our environment. It's a wake-up call to heed the warning signs and strive for a future where green valleys thrive once more. - Blessings, Daniel

Thanks Daniel, I wish I knew what it's going to take to wake us up. It's almost as if we want to commit worldwide suicide. Where's Woodsy Owl when you need him?
