How Does the Soul Enter Heaven

The soul enters heaven has it ever really left market square on Tuesday a minute before they swept The soul enters heaven unable to wave back now their scraping gum off the tramway tracks The soul enters heaven so a preacher once said Their taking a smoke break as I fume over the dead The soul enters heaven driving me out of my mind God I’m acting strange and falling further behind The soul enters heaven they leave me a parking ticket Loving her was sublime wrenched apart so wicked How Does The Soul Enter Heaven Sponsored by mystic Rose Rose 02/04/23

Heya Vijay, to be honest I’ve no clue as to how a soul enters heaven, so I kinda went at it in an surreal sense, of life carrying on as normal around one who’s just been bereaved, and still in shock, cheers David

You certainly did read and encourage me Christopher since I joined the soup, and I’m so grateful you did, but I still just see myself as an average guy with average intelligence, maybe I just see the world in an abstract manner and it filters into my poems, cheers David

Your too kind Christopher, it’s really impossible to try understand how somebody enters heaven as a concept, so I just went for it as seen from a bereaved one’s surrealistic view, death can happen at any time anywhere, as you pointed out, cheers David

I really like this one. It has a feel and a beat like a surrealist poet set to jazz. Fun to read and heart rendering at the same time. xomo

LOL! Yeah, Jazz is so hit or miss, some is fantastic, some makes you want to rip your ears off and plug your skull.

Heya Super Mo, I’ve no idea how a soul enters heaven, but I do know the heartache it leaves behind, the world indeed becomes surreal around us, I love your interpretation, I really hope no jazz in my heaven lol, take care, cheers David

Maybe we're already here, who knows. But it must be a good place and maybe that's why no-one has come back to tell us. Good luck in the contest. Enjoy your weekend. Tom

Who knows Tom, a good day can be described as heavenly, This one’s perspectively looking around as normalcy carries on, whilst an individual is going out of their mind in grief, I doubt if it’s what the sponsor wants to hear, but it’s the truth, have a great weekend too, cheers David

Love this unique way, David, of the soul entering heaven, maybe poetically, you've hit the nail on it's head....love it. Stay well my friend, and to quote John Lennon, Imagine. ..Harry

Than you Harry, everyone going about their mundane business when the bereaved are devastated in grief, hard to Imagine poetically at that moment what’s going on in heaven, cheers David
