The Shepherds celebrated the First Christmas by evangelizing; Are we showing hope when there seems to be none, can you radiate hope even when you’re down?
The Angels were praising God. Our thoughts need to be more God orientated (even in the busyness of life). Loving God more in adoration. Worship God more.
God the Father loved and He gave. The Father’s concrete evidence that He loved and gave. His greatest and best Gift: His Son. God is not like Santa Claus. God’s gifts are gracious, precious and loving. There's no mystery to what God has given. God gave freely and loving and not perfunctory. Maybe it’s giving of yourself and not something material.
God The Son He impoverished Himself for our gain. Christ’s birth story is a cold degrading story. He left His heavenly throne to be born in a stable. Christ left the warm heights of glory for the depths of humility. Are we taking care of the poor. Can we be inconvenienced enough to spend our time and resources on others?

How Do You Celebrate Christmas
In silence stretched across the years
A world in longing, that came to jeers
Shepherds gathered by glen and hill
Heard Heaven’s Hope, their hearts to fill
The angels’ chorus pierced the night
In worship pure, in dazzling light
May we, amidst our busy days
Lift grateful hearts in ceaseless praise
The Father's love, unearned, profound
In giving all, His grace is found
Not gifts that fade or wealth of earth
But Love Himself, of priceless worth
The Son descended, in stride and strife
Gave up His royal throne, His crown, His life
For us, He chose a humble stall
For our redemption, gave His all
Can we, like Him, give from the soul
Be moved to serve, to make others whole?
Can you be burdened so hope is born
And share His light this Christmas morn?

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered about those things which were told to them by the shepherds.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
