How Do I Write
How do I write about nature?
When wildlife fled like a capture,
From a toxic plume that came here
Damaging water and the soil
These are toxins that last for years
Spreading anger and many fears
What will happen to plants and trees?
From here to horizon one sees?
Empty skies without a bird flight,
Brings darkness like day into night
The stirred toxic streams create rainbows
Now, unhealthy color that shows
This catastrophe is widespread
As if this creation has bled
I fear what is ahead to see
Maintaining courage within me
I cherish nature every day
All I can do is pray and pray!
