How Could You?
Did you really forget the promises we made?
How could you let those feelings just fade?
I had your name carved deep in my heart —
How do you expect me to erase it without falling apart?
Wouldn’t that stir my soul?
Wouldn’t that shatter me to the core?
How come my calls mean nothing to you now?
You once waited for my voice — remember how?
Oh, dear friend, you left without goodbye,
Vanished from my world — without any reason, I don’t know why.
And all of this just to be with someone new?
Wasn’t I enough? Wasn’t I true?
I gave you the best parts of me.
I guess you received something else — something you didn’t get from me.
I'm not strong enough to fake I'm okay,
But I swear I was real in every way.
Someday, I hope you understand and care —
That I lost you… but I always played fair.
