How Can You Love Christ Yet Reject Me

You say you love Christ
and yet never call me.
There are so many discouragements
 that surround me.

You say; “Another time. I’m busy right now…”
I want to talk with you. I’m not sure how.

You say you’ll listen but never take the time.
Whenever I get near you… You leave me far behind.

You say you want to show me salvation’s plan.
But seem to be unwilling to reach out your hand.

You say you want me to
come to a church meeting.
But deep inside… My heart is “bleeding…”

You say you’ll listen and say a prayer.
When I stop by your house. No one’s there.

You say this Christ you love… Loves me too.
Is this simply words.? Or is this true?

You say a lot of words and do many things…
I want to know what God’s love means…

Will you say that you’ll take time for me?
What kind of Christian do you choose to be?

Will you share and teach me God’s ways?
So I too can live for him now… And always?

Will you give me the love Christ has given?
So I too can have my sins forgiven!

Thank you for listening to my heart-felt prayer…
Thanks for listening.
and for being there!
