How Can This Be?
I know I live, yet I feel dead.
Your words abusive, drilling through my head.
I fall to my knees, trying to die.
You hear my pleas, you hear me cry.
The pain I surpress, yet sorrow takes control.
My hearts in distress, though I've already sold my soul.
Water surpasses me, filling my lungs.
Now I can see, my misery has sung.
I fall into the stars, forever lost.
I still feel the burn of my scars, was this life's cost?
Swept off my feet, by misery.
I accept defeat, oh so sorrowfully.
I watch the blood, no longer hide.
Should I let this flood, put out my fire inside.
Is this the end, my final night?
For death I'll send, there's still no fright.
Tearing down the walls, that imprison me.
Yet my body falls, how can this be?
All of my hatred, is so real.
This is what I did, now it's your pain i feel.
It won't be alright, despite what they say.
Just say goodnight, For I won't see another day.
Look to the sky, and you'll finally see.
Why I cry, so just leave me...
