How Can It Be?
way back in the day
a very wise woman said
run! don't walk away
this is a new type
of insanity not seen
in our family
but we didn't heed
now it has begun to grieve
those here in the path
is this how you test
the supposed love of those
strangling in your web?
you make it real hard
to love without condition
recycled sadness
